Our HEAD Coach - Tabitha Taylor
Background
Coach Tabitha Is A Home Grown Product And Has West Texas In Her Blood! She is the daughter of WT alumni and grew up just a couple of miles from the WT Equestrian Center. She rode on the team during her time at WTAMU. She has ridden and shown horses from an early age. She has show experience in USEF/USHJA, AQHA, IHSA, & their affiliates. We are thrilled to have her back at home and leading our program!
Education
Coach Tabitha has a B.S. from WTAMU in 2012 (YEA- Go Buffs!!)& her M.S. from Oklahoma State University In 2015
Coaching, Teaching, & Working
Along with her head coaching gig, Tabitha also teaches classes at WT in the Equine Science Department. She was previously the head coach at Saint Mary of the Woods College for 9 years from 2015-2023 where she also taught classes in the Department of Equine Studies. In her spare time when she is not busy with all of her WT duties, she is also a well known clinician & horse show judge.
